Job Description

IDR is seeking a Senior Construction Recruiter to join one of our top clients in Nashville. This role plays a key part in identifying and securing top talent for their construction teams, with a focus on residential and affordable housing projects. Position Overview & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the full-cycle recruitment process for construction roles, from sourcing to offer acceptance, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
  • Partner with hiring managers and construction leadership to understand hiring needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
  • Source candidates using various methods, including job boards, social media platforms, referrals, and industry events.
  • Coordinate interview logistics, including job site visits and virtual meetings, to ensure an efficient hiring process.
  • Maintain accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure compliance with all labor laws and internal policies.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience recruiting for construction roles with a strong understanding of industry-specific needs.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple roles and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficient in Applicant Tracking Systems and recruitment platforms such as LinkedIn and Indeed.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with both candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of current construction labor market trends and best practices in recruitment.
