About This Position:

We are a diverse collaborative of designers, architects, interior designers, cabinet makers and construction managers that believe the design/build project delivery method not only streamlines a superior construction experience, but allows the full potential of an architectural design to be met through in-house construction.
Treehouse is seeking a collaborative and enthusiastic Designer with 5-8 years’ experience to work together with architectural staff in all phases of design and construction administration. Interested candidates should have a passion for residential design and construction. Experience in residential design is strongly preferred. Candidates should be experienced working in Revit and in the production of technical drawings. Ideal candidates should be pursuing licensure or newly licensed and eager to hone their architectural craft through built work. Responsibilities will include:
· existing conditions documentation
· regulatory research
· design collaboration with senior architectural staff
· development of Revit drawings from conceptual modeling through construction drawings
· field work
· construction administration support
Qualifications should include:
· professional degree in architecture from accredited program
· 5-8 years’ experience
· software skills in Revit/Excel/Photoshop
· a drive to problem solve
· an eagerness to collaborate with craftspeople
· working towards licensure or newly licensed
