Job Description
Insight Global is supporting a client in their search for a Payroll Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join a COMPAS Payroll Modernization project. This role is critical in ensuring a smooth transition from the legacy payroll system to CGI Advantage ERP. The SME will focus on data validation, payroll testing, and issue resolution throughout the migration process. They will be responsible for validating records, executing parallel testing, and collaborating closely with project stakeholders to identify and troubleshoot discrepancies in payroll data.
This is a high-visibility role that will directly impact the success of a major payroll modernization initiative. The selected candidate will work with a collaborative team of technical experts and business stakeholders to ensure accurate, compliant payroll processing for thousands of employees. This position offers the opportunity to leverage deep CGI Advantage expertise while contributing to meaningful organizational transformation.
Pay Range goes from $65-76/hr

Skills and Requirements
Strong, direct experience with CGI Advantage ERP - Payroll
Proven experience with payroll modernization or migration projects
Expertise in payroll tax, Medicare, federal and state tax calculations and compliance
Strong Excel skills for data validation and reporting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify root causes of complex payroll discrepancies - Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools for tracking/testing
Background supporting large payroll systems or enterprise-wide payroll modernization efforts
