JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title: Entry-Level Electrical Engineer

Department: Engineering

Reports to: Senior Engineer Manager

Category: Exempt

Position Summary:

Perform hands-on electrical assembly, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment such as vacuum pumps, water systems, and other electrical components. Assist in the installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical and electronic systems to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. Ensure all tasks are performed in accordance with company policies and quality system procedures.

Tasks:

• Assemble, wire, and test electrical components and control panels according to schematics and technical specifications.
• Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical malfunctions in equipment and control systems.
• Support installation and maintenance activities for electrical systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documents.
• Work with engineering and production teams to ensure proper wiring and component placement.
• Conduct quality control inspections to verify wiring integrity and system functionality.
• Follow safety protocols and industry standards for electrical work.
• Maintain records of test results, repairs, and modifications.
• Support technicians and senior engineers in daily operations and projects.

Skills:

• Basic understanding of electrical wiring and circuitry.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience with electrical tools and testing equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical safety protocols and best practices.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Experience and Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
• Some hands-on experience in electrical assembly, wiring, or troubleshooting is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the role.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. without physical limitation.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on, manufacturing environment.
