SUMMARY

We are looking for a reliable Delivery Driver and Assembler who is concerned with customer satisfaction and transporting items in a safe, timely manner. The Delivery Driver will pick up and drop off items while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules. You should be willing to work as part of the delivery team in order to ensure that the items are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct client.

If not driving, as Assembler, this individual will perform tasks that are necessary to the production process. They must also maintain tidy work areas and follow detailed instructions in order to meet safety and quality requirements.

As an Assembler, you must have an aptitude for mechanics and an eye for detail. A top-notch assembler should have the ability to comprehend and follow detailed verbal and written instructions, as well as picking tickets, orders, and be a team player.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner.
  • Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
  • Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
  • Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
  • Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
  • Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
  • Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, etc.
  • Using tools to make or repair parts and products.
  • Interpreting technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, blueprints, or other verbal or written instructions.
  • Working with other members of the line or group in order to assemble products.
  • Keeping a clean and tidy workspace.
  • Meeting all safety requirements of the company and industry.
  • Identifying any defective items and handling them according to established procedures.
  • Using reason to solve problems as they arise.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license issued by the state where you intend to work.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
  • Strong time management and customer service skills.
  • Ability to walk, drive, lift and carry heavy items for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Spanish is a plus.
