Job Description

We are looking for a Remote Data Entry Typist to help input, update, and organize data in various systems. The ideal candidate should have excellent typing skills, a keen eye for detail, and be able to work efficiently from home. This is an entry-level role that will primarily involve typing and data management tasks in a quiet, home-office setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately input data from documents, spreadsheets, and forms into digital systems.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date data records.

  • Proofread and check the accuracy of data entered, ensuring there are no errors.
  • Organize and categorize data as needed to make it easily accessible.

  • Meet daily and weekly data entry quotas or targets.

  • Assist with data formatting and report generation when required.

  • Keep track of work progress and meet deadlines.

  • Communicate any data discrepancies or challenges with the team.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional certifications in typing or data entry are a plus).
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy (preferably 40+ WPM).

  • Familiarity with common data entry software and tools (Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

  • Good communication skills (written).

  • Comfortable working remotely with a reliable internet connection.

  • Basic knowledge of file management and digital organization.

  • Previous data entry or typing experience is preferred but not required.
