**Job Description:**
**Workplace:** All services will be done at the hospital.
**Work Schedule:** 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (the end time can change based on work hours). Preference for 8 or 10-hour shifts, with some 12-hour shifts possible. Weekend work may be needed.
**Technology Used:** Meditech for electronic medical records and Spectrum Anesthesia EMR.
**Surgical Cases:** Each CRNA handles 2-3 surgical cases per day. The hospital has 20-30 surgery cases each day.
**Pain Management Cases:** One day a week for Pain Management in the operating room.
**Hospital Level:** This is a Level II Trauma Hospital.
**Emergency Room Volume:** The ER sees about 28,000 patients each year.
**Operating Rooms:** There are 12 operating rooms (7 surgery rooms, 2 endoscopy rooms, 2 open heart surgery rooms, and 1 for obstetrics).
**Patients:** Mostly adults, with some pediatric cases like bone marrow transplants and tonsillectomies.
**Team Support:** There is strong support for CRNAs. The anesthesiology team is helpful, encouraging their independence.
**EMR System:** The anesthesia-specific electronic medical record is organized and efficient.
**Equipment:** All tools and machines are modern and up-to-date.
**Support Staff:** There is a strong block program with two specially trained nurses and a tech available for anesthesia.
**Work Environment:** Good teamwork is important here.
**Surgery Types:** No surgeries for newborns. The work includes general anesthesia, MAC, and TIVA. CRNAs perform pre-op tasks, inductions, recoveries, and nerve blocks, mostly independently.
**No:** Bariatric surgeries or organ transplants.
**Credentialing Time:** It takes around 30 days to complete credentialing.
**New Graduates:** Candidates who have recently graduated are welcome to apply.
**Qualifications**
- Board Certified by AANA (must be certified when starting) - **REQUIRED**
- Ohio State license (or willing to get one) - **REQUIRED**
- BLS, ACLS, & PALS certifications (must have when starting) - **REQUIRED**
- NRP certification - **HIGHLY PREFERRED**
- DEA license (must be obtained before starting) - **REQUIRED** (no exceptions)
- 3 years or more experience as a CRNA - **PREFERRED**
- Visa support needed for J1 or H1B? (please note in the Additional Details) - **REQUIRED**
**Certification Requirements:**
