We Search People is partnering with an established mechanical insulation contractor to hire a Project Manager for their Hyattsville, MD team. The ideal candidate will have strong project management experience within the mechanical insulation industry and be capable of overseeing projects from initial planning through final delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage mechanical insulation projects from kickoff to closeout.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements to ensure accurate planning and execution.
• Collaborate with estimators to support cost development and bid preparation as needed.
• Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, clients, and internal teams to maintain seamless project flow.
• Track project schedules, budgets, and progress, addressing issues proactively to keep work on track.
• Prepare and deliver reports on project performance, including financial and operational updates.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and team members.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of project management experience in mechanical insulation or a related field.
• Solid understanding of insulation materials, applications, and installation methods.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication, leadership, negotiation, and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with project management or estimating software is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
