Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Dedicated Evening Shift

Location: El Monte, CA

Compensation: $20.50 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time, Evening Shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)

What You Will Do (Essential Duties):

As a CNA, your primary purpose is to ensure our residents receive personalized, high-quality care, acting as the consistent link between the resident and the nursing team.

Direct Resident Care:

• Assist residents with daily functions, including dental/mouth care, bathing, dressing, and hygiene.
• Assist with feeding, ensuring proper identification of food, and recording food/fluid intake.
• Maintain resident comfort by ensuring linens are clean, water is available, and calls are answered promptly.
• Assist with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents safely.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition, including signs of pressure areas or skin breakdown, immediately to the Nurse Supervisor.

Documentation & Safety:

• Accurately record entries on flow sheets and charts using authorized abbreviations.
• Report all accidents, incidents, and observed injuries of unknown source.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of resident protected health information (PHI).

Team Collaboration:

• Create an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis.
• Participate in nursing reports and cooperate with all facility personnel to ensure seamless care.
• Assist in resident admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring a smooth transition.

Required Qualifications:

• Licensure: Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in accordance with California state laws.
• Education: Minimum of a 10th-grade education.
• Certification: CPR certification is strongly Preferred .
