Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Service Technician with a strong focus on electrical and diagnostic work. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex automotive issues, particularly those related to electrical systems, engine performance, and drivability. You will utilize your expertise to provide accurate and efficient repairs, ensuring customer satisfaction and vehicle safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics, including electrical system troubleshooting, engine performance analysis, and drivability assessments.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex automotive issues.
  • Repair and replace electrical components, wiring harnesses, and control modules.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including oil changes, brake service, and suspension work.
  • Accurately document all diagnostic procedures, repairs, and parts used.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding vehicle repairs.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest automotive technologies and repair procedures.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as an Automotive Service Technician.
  • Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software.
  • Excellent understanding of automotive systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, and suspension.
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Strong attention to detail and work ethic.
  • High school diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ASE certifications (Electrical, Engine Performance, and Advanced Level Diagnostics preferred).
  • Experience with ALLDATA and Tekmetric software.
  • Bilingual communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive hourly rate: $30 - $40 per hour (based on experience and certifications).
