Audit Partner (Hybrid 3 days in office) - Top 300 CPA firm located in Glendale, CA
Brewer Morris is currently working with a Top 300 CPA firm with 200+ employees in Glendale, CA that is seeking a hybrid Non-Equity Audit Partner that will be in office 3 days/week. The CPA firm is among the top 1% of accounting firms by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). The firm also has a high staff retention rate, with an average over 90% for the past two years.
The firm is known for its client-centered approach, helping nonprofits, private companies, and high-net-worth individuals achieve their financial goals with clarity and confidence. The firm’s hands-on approach and tailored solutions have fostered long-standing relationships with clients who value the firm’s commitment to excellence and personalized service.
This is a Non-Equity Audit Partner position (upward mobility to become equity Partner) and the candidate must have a background in Non-Profit, Government , or Healthcare and having experience with EBPs and private sector clients is a plus. The candidate must be involved with marketing, gaining new clients, maintaining chargeable hours and training staff.
Responsibilities
• Possess a well-rounded experience in the areas of accounting and auditing.
• Represent the firm brand to your fullest potential to clients and prospects in the marketplace.
• Assist in developing business plans and the implementation of those plans.
• Develop and execute the Firm strategy to drive growth.
• Duties will include concurring or other technical involvement on Firm’s A & A quality control programs.
• Attract, develop and retain talent.
• Ensure the continuous professional development of staff is being met.
• Travel as needed.
Hours
• Working hours in the busy season: 45 to 55 hours max
• Non-busy season: 40 hours
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related discipline
• CPA certification
• Minimum of 10+ years of relevant professional experience in public accounting with a regional or large local CPA firm
• 5 years of leadership/management experience
