One of the country's biggest retail fashion brands is looking for a talented Application Support Enginee r to join the Photo Studio team onsite in San Francisco and help shape the digital tools that power production process on an enterprise scale. You’ll collaborate directly with seasoned leaders and passionate teams to provide application support, feature development, and solve any technical challenges that arise along the way.

Responsibilities :

• Deliver onsite technical support and troubleshooting for a custom web-based asset management tool used by photo studio teams
• Work closely with users in real-time to identify, diagnose, and resolve application issues including photo upload problems or workflow breaks
• Maintain, refine, and enhance software features in partnership with the Sr. Director and studio operations staff
• Develop and deploy fixes for bugs, backend database elements (e.g., stored procedures), and front-end components as needed
• Provide proactive feedback and improvements by observing studio processes and user interactions
• Serve as the go-to resource for application health, resolving urgent issues during studio hours
• Participate in project overviews and collaborative discussions with leadership and cross-functional studio teams

Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field, required
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing, supporting, and troubleshooting web applications
• Advanced skills in Python and Django for backend development and support
• Strong command of HTML , CSS (including Bootstrap ), and JavaScript for front-end fixes and enhancements
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL and database troubleshooting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable partnering directly with users in a busy studio environment
• Rapid problem-solving abilities with a hands-on, flexible approach to live support
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to process and prioritize multiple concurrent requests
• Experience in asset or workflow management solutions is a plus
• Familiarity with AGILE methods and team-based collaboration
