Quality Tester – Medical Device Industry

QUICK FACTS

• Location: San Diego, CA 92130
• Temporary: 1 year, potential for extension
• Shifts: 1 st = M-F 6am - 2:30pm, 2 nd = M-F 2pm - 10:30pm
• Pay Range: $23-25/hr
  

EXPERIENCE NEEDED

• High school diploma required, Associates degree in a technical or scientific discipline preferred
• 1 year+ of hands-on experience with inspection, test equipment, and data collection.
• Detail-oriented with strong integrity and accountability for data accuracy.
  

MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB

• Follow work instructions and test methods to perform system-level product testing.
• Conduct fluid dispensing and weight-based testing using analytical balances.
• Ensure all testing is performed accurately and in compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Enter and maintain data integrity in the system; verify test results and escalate discrepancies.
• Identify and communicate any product flaws or irregularities to engineering.
• Support ongoing verification and validation efforts.
